Happy State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
It has been 28 years since the significant date - June 4, 1992, when Elbasy signed the Law on State Symbols. This law confirmed that the Republic of Kazakhstan is an independent and sovereign state.
Flag, National emblem, Anthem are the sources of the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism, love for the Motherland, deep respect for its history, state language, culture and traditions. State symbols embody the moral values on which the policy pursued by our country is based. This is openness, peacefulness, freedom, independence and harmony.
State symbols are of great moral importance for citizens of any state, especially for the young and growing generation. Speaking at the third meeting of the National Council of Public Confidence on May 27, the Head of State outlined the basic requirements that modern graduates must meet. These should be educated, professionally trained, patriotic, mentally adequate young people.
For the whole team of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev - educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, civic responsibility and an active life position is a matter of honor. This is what every step, every action, all activities conducted at the university are aimed at. AUPET is the leading technical university in the country; its graduates are in demand not only in the republican, but also in the international labor market. All this is the result of purposeful work carried out by each employee and the whole team in all areas of the university.
Kazakhstani patriotism is the basis for the success of our multinational and multiconfessional society. The foundation of Kazakhstani patriotism is the equal rights of all citizens and their common responsibility for the honor of the Motherland. It is also pride with the country and its achievements. We are glad that our contribution is also in the success of the country.
To be a patriot of your homeland is to carry Kazakhstan in your heart. Indeed, without a deep sense of love for one’s homeland and true patriotism, there is no real citizen, no real person.
